One of the first people you will meet before arriving on campus will be your advisor. Your advisor will always be in your corner through the ups and downs that make high school the most formative years of your life. Advisors come to understand your academic goals and ensure that your course selection aligns with your dreams. And at Gunn, advisors do so much more, they help you think about being active in our community, they cheer you on at games and performances and in the end they help you get the most out of your time on our campus. Students meet with advisors 4 times per week through meals, school meetings and dedicated time with your advisory group that acts as a second family - and of course there will be times when you just pop in to see your advisor on days when you need a little extra support. Chances are when you return to campus as an alum, one of the first people you will look to find is your advisor.
