The Center for Entrepreneurship
the start up starts here.
Entrepreneurship at Gunn is a curriculum available to 11th and 12th grade students where they discover how to turn ideas into action. Through our curriculum, students are exposed to the basics of business - both skillsets and mindsets. Students learn how to develop a pitch, present an idea and work in teams, while also learning to understand that starting a business requires grit and resilience as learning from failures will be as important as making the pitch. And while our work starts in the classroom, our program quickly becomes practical as invited business leaders come to tell their stories and offer critiques and guidance to students as they set up early-stage ventures. Our aim is for students to learn that entrepreneurship is not only an approach to one's future profession, entrepreneurship is an approach to all of life.
