Repeating Current Grade FAQs

Repeating a grade when joining a boarding school community is not unusual. Our admissions officers are happy to discuss this subject with you. Common reasons to repeat a grade are to allow a student to align maturation with grade level, to allow for a fuller experience in our community, or to allow more time before engaging the college process.

We work with repeating students and families to align the academic curriculum with the best interests of the student. Considerations include past academic performance and placement test results when relevant.
