What is your favorite “Gunn Moment”?
My favorite Gunn moment is Play4TheCure. The field hockey team plans this event every year and it is a night where our Gunn community comes together for a night of fun under the lights.

When did you realize Gunn was the place for you?
I have been a part of the Gunn family before even becoming a student, as both of my brothers graduated from Gunn. While being on campus for my brothers, watching games, and at family events, I was able to find a great sense of community and I fell in love with the school.

What is your best piece of advice for a student going through the admissions process?
Be your own person and involve yourself in the community.

What is your favorite “Gunn Moment”?
My favorite Gunn moment was when the boys lacrosse team won two cups in one day this past spring: the Colonial Cup (our lacrosse championship) and the Canterbury Cup (the cup with our rival school).

When did you realize Gunn was the place for you?
Move-in day was the day I realized Gunn was the place for me. As soon as I walked on campus, I was welcomed by all students and faculty. First days are very nerve wracking and the warm, welcoming community got rid of my nerves.

What is your best piece of advice for a student going through the admissions process?
My best piece of advice for a student going through the admissions process is be yourself. Here at Gunn, being your authentic self is very important.

What is your favorite “Gunn Moment”?
My favorite “Gunn Moment” has been finding and rehiding the Stray Shot. It's an ongoing tradition of hiding a cannonball around our campus, leaving clues for others to find. My friends and I searched for many months and ultimately found the cannonball in fall of 2022 and continued on the tradition by rehiding it in spring 2023 as well as presenting our search at Prize Night.

When did you realize Gunn was the place for you?
My family has always had a very strong connection to Gunn, as many of them went to Gunn as well as me. Growning up, I always knew I would want to continue in their footsteps and attend Gunn as well. I’ve always known Gunn would be the place for me and this school has exceeded my expectations.

What is your best piece of advice for a student going through the admissions process?
Involve yourself in as much as you can and do your best to push yourself out of your comfort zone. Try new things and put effort into making new friends.

What is your favorite “Gunn Moment”?
My favorite “Gunn Moment” is the first day getting back to campus. I enjoy meeting all the new students and teachers as well as seeing friends I do not get to see over the summer. There is a big barbecue and a lot of really fun group activities, like Spikeball.

When did you realize Gunn was the place for you?
I realized Gunn was for me when I saw the new arts building, TPACC. I enjoy the arts and seeing that Gunn puts a lot of effort into not just the academics but the arts as well excited me. I enjoy how there is something for everyone here.

What is your best piece of advice for a student going through the admissions process?
The best piece of advice I could give to a student is to be calm. The admissions team is kind and they love when you can just be yourself.

What is your favorite “Gunn Moment”?
My favorite Gunn memory would definitely be the pep rally last year. The energy and school spirit was unmatched.

When did you realize Gunn was the place for you?
The moment I stepped on campus my freshman year. Orientation week was long but very supportive, and I realized quickly how special our community is.

What is your best piece of advice for a student going through the admissions process?
Be friendly with everyone and be open-minded. From the moment you step on campus, try new things, meet new people, get out of your comfort zone because you won’t regret it. Kindness and support goes a long way and is what our community is built on.

What is your favorite “Gunn Moment”?
My favorite “Gunn Moment” was when we won Canterbury Day in 2022. It all came down to who won the Varsity Field Hockey game. The whole school was down at the turf, cheering them on and being loud. We ended up winning in overtime thanks to my roommate, Poppy Kellogg '25. Everyone rushed to the field and celebrated with the team.

When did you realize Gunn was the place for you?
I realized Gunn was the right place for me the first day I stepped onto campus. Everyone was so friendly and went out of the their way to say 'Hi' and have a conversation with me.

What is your best piece of advice for a student going through the admissions process?
Be yourself and you will end up at the best place for you!
