Boys Varsity Lacrosse

The Boys Lacrosse program is built on a tradition honoring the four cornerstones of character: scholarship, integrity, respect, and responsibility. Coaches instill these values, with the goal of developing athletes who become leaders in their communities, outstanding students, and exceptional lacrosse players — because success in the classroom and on the field are directly connected.

Boys Lacrosse is a high-energy, competitive program known for developing a culture of accountability, growth, and camaraderie, with consistent strength in the NEPSAC and strong postseason play. Practices emphasize individual development — stick skills, field awareness, physicality, strength and conditioning, and film study — challenging every player to improve daily and reach their full potential, on and off the field.

The team competes in the Western New England Secondary School Lacrosse Association (WNESSLA) against formidable opponents such as Taft, Hotchkiss, Trinity-Pawling, and Berkshire, and its ambitions extend beyond league play. Gunn actively seeks out top-tier competition to prepare Highlanders to succeed at the collegiate level and beyond. The commitment is real: daily practice, two to three games a week, and regular weekend competition.
