Karis Bongiolatti holds a Bachelor of Science in Dance Education with PreK–12 certification from Central Connecticut State University. She trains in ballet, jazz, tap, acrobatics, modern, contemporary, hip-hop, and Afro-Caribbean dance, and is passionate about inspiring students through movement and education.
Karis spent seven years training at Sparkle and Shine Dance — six as a member of its competition team — earning numerous title awards, Top Overall placements, and special recognitions for artistry and technical excellence. She has performed at Madison Square Garden, Citi Field, the Grand Ole Opry, and the 2023 SoloDuo Festival in New York City. At CCSU, she performed and choreographed with Dancentral, the university's student dance organization, and continues to mentor its dancers and choreographers as an alumna. An award-winning educator and choreographer, she is committed to helping every dancer build confidence, technique, and a lifelong love of dance.
