Our Philosophy
The Gunn Girls Varsity Soccer program strives to compete in every aspect of the game. Our program is in a stage of exciting growth. We are a strong mix of returners and new high impact players. From high-intensity practices to our competitive game schedule, we are focused on the development of our players. Practice sessions are structured around technique, tactics and proper game mindset. We seek to hold each other accountable by constantly learning about how to best work with one another's strengths.
We place emphasis on the leadership that happens off the field, in the involvement with The Frederick Gunn School community. Our student-athletes hold multiple leadership positions on campus, from dorm RA’s, Head Tour Guides, Gunn Society members, Dining Hall Managers, and peer leaders. We value the lessons of sportsmanship, and character as Mr. Gunn did 170 years ago.
Should you have any questions about the girls soccer program please feel free to contact us.
