Two Frederick Gunn School teams have earned spots in the 2023 New England Championships. Boys Varsity Basketball is the #3 seed in the NEPSAC Boys Basketball Tournament Class B Bracket. The Highlanders will face #6 seed The Governor’s Academy on Wednesday, March 1, at 3:30 p.m. at Deerfield Academy.
Boys Varsity Hockey has earned the #3 seed in the NEPSAC Boys Ice Hockey Tournament in the Piatelli/Simmons Bracket. The Highlanders will face #6 seed Tilton School on Wednesday, March 1, at 5 p.m. at Deerfield Academy.

Both games will be held at a neutral site due to NEPSAC rules stating that all first-round tournament games need to be played at a neutral location if the two schools are more than 2.75 hours away from each other, said Athletic Director Mike Marich P’23 ’24, President, NEPSAC District IV.
The winners of Wednesday’s Quarterfinals will advance to the Semifinals on Saturday, March 4.
