Gunn will face off against #1 seed Greens Farms Academy on Saturday, November 18, in the NEPSAC Class C Girls Field Hockey Championship. The Semifinal game will be played at 2 p.m. at Greens Farms Academy on Field 1, 35 Beachside Avenue in
Westport.
The #4 seed Highlanders advanced to the Semifinals after defeating #5 seed Canterbury 1-0 in a highly competitive home game on November 15. The Highlanders also beat the Saints 2-1 on November 11, Canterbury Day, which marked Gunn’s ninth straight regular season win. Gunn concluded its regular season with a record of 12-6, winning their last nine games and outscoring their opponents 43 to 3.
The winners of the NEPSAC Semifinals will advance to the Finals, which will be played at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, at Pomfret School, a neutral site.
