The Frederick Gunn School Music Program will present, "A Chamber Concert: An Eclectic Mix of Music Solos," featuring 17 students in the Music Program, on Friday, April 29, in the Tisch Family Auditorium of the Thomas S. Perakos Arts and Community Center. Family, friends and the community are welcome to attend. All attendees are asked to comply with the school’s current Visitor Policy. General admission seating. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is free.

Students will perform a wide range of musical styles, including Etta James, Vaughan Williams, Beethoven, Bach, and Adele. “There’s something for everyone,” said Ron Castonguay, Director of the Arts and Music Director.

Students were selected to perform through in-class auditions and assessments and represent all levels of musicians, from students who began learning a new instrument in September to all-state level musicians with multiple years of experience. Adjunct music instructor Sarah Fay will accompany a dozen musicians as part of the program.

"It takes a lot of courage to stand up on this stage and perform a solo in front of peers, family and friends. I am so proud of these young musicians and the progress they have made," Castonguay said.
