Six Gunn Music students have been accepted to perform at the Connecticut Music Educators Association’s (CMEA) Northern Region Music Festival. These students were among 11 Gunn Music students who traveled to Avon High School on November 8, 2025, for auditions. The Northern Region Music Festival, which will include band, jazz band, choral and orchestral ensembles, will take place on January 16 and 17, 2026, at New Britain High School.
Moving forward, these students have now qualified to audition for the CMEA All-State Music Festival on February 7, 2026, at North Haven High School. The All-State Music Festival will take place March 26-28, 2026, at the Hartford Convention Center. Best of luck to our outstanding Gunn musicians!
