For this year’s juried art exhibition, ASAP invited students in grades 6-12 around the state to submit their work based on the 2024 theme: Grace. The photographs by the Gunn students are among the top 60 selected by a panel of professional photographers.
On Sunday, the top four photographs will be announced, and the photographers will be recognized for their outstanding and thoughtful work based on the yearly theme. In addition, a Viewer’s Choice Award, selected by attendees, will be awarded. One middle school student and one high school student also will receive the 2024 Dylan’s Wings Photography Award, presented by Ian Hockley, founder of Dylan’s Wings of Change, a nonprofit foundation dedicated to the memory of Dylan Hockley, one of the first grade victims of the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012. Its mission is to nurture empathy, empower courage, and inspire hope in people of all ages.
