Fueling The Frederick Gunn School Experience
From experiential learning opportunities and faculty development, to student life activities, athletics, and financial aid, The 1850 Fund provides annual operating revenue for The Frederick Gunn School. Gifts of all sizes — from alumni, friends, faculty and staff, students, and families — collectively ensure the school can maintain our standards of excellence and improve where needed.
The Founders Society
Recognizing all alumni and parent leadership donors annually giving $1,850 or above to The 1850 Fund. Young alumni who graduated in the last 15 years qualify for membership in The Founders Society with a minimum annual gift of $925.

Presented to the class with the largest class gift with no more than half of the total from one donor.
Margaret P. Addicks H’02 Award - 1963
Presented to the class with the highest class participation with a minimum alumni body of 20.
Susan G. Graham H’12 Award - 2014
Presented to the young alumni class, up to 10 years out, with the highest participation.
W. Russ Elgin Award - 2013
Presented to the young alumni class, up to 10 years out, with the largest class gift.
