Inspired by Frederick Gunn’s belief that athletics builds both "muscle and character," our program offers 36 teams across 16 sports. Whether you are a high performing athlete or a beginner, this is where you can master new skills, discover new passions, and contribute to the tradition of being a Highlander, in and out of competition.

Parent Giving

The Parents Fund

Every gift matters, and your contribution to The 1850 Fund, no matter the size, is a tangible way to support your student’s Gunn experience. Annual gifts from current parents, grandparents and parents of alumni have an immediate impact on every student and faculty member: funding extracurricular activities, campus renewal projects, faculty development, department budgets, and much more.

Parent Leadership Giving

If your family is in a position to give at the leadership level, please consider an annual contribution to The Parents Fund of $1,850 or more. Current parents who give at this leadership level are recognized alongside alumni as members of The Founders Society.

Volunteer Opportunities

If you are interested in volunteering on The Parents Fund Committee to help build relationships with current families and raise awareness about the importance of giving.
