Gallery Featuring Portraits by Maxwell Hall '25

Gallery Featuring Portraits by Maxwell Hall '25

A new exhibit, "Maxwell Hall, Portraits," featuring paintings and digital art by alumni artist Maxwell Hall '25, opened September 14 in the Perakos Family Cares Art Gallery. The exhibit will remain on view through October 9, 2026. An artist reception is scheduled for Friday, October 2, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. All are welcome.

According to his artist statement, Hall is a multidisciplinary artist who grew up living between multiple homes in New York. He creates his paintings intently, though sporadically, and he recognizes his art is the most honest and thorough interpretation of his life. In the midst of each painting, he writes, designs, and directs various projects, with the BUY ME Fashion show, which premiered at Gunn in the spring of 2025, being the first of his personal productions. As a painter, Hall has gradually found his artistic voice and matured throughout his practice.

The Perakos Family Cares Gallery is open to the public free of charge. Hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The gallery is located in the Thomas S. Perakos Arts and Community Center (TPACC). Parking is available in the Upper Parking Lot via the Gatehouse entrance. Accessibility parking is available for those with an accessibility parking tag in front of TPACC. Please refer to the Campus Map for these locations.
