Spring Concert to Feature Film Scores, Popular Songs, Jazz Standards, and More!

The Frederick Gunn School Music Program will present its spring concert, “Be Our Guest,” for one night only, Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. in the Tisch Family Auditorium of the Thomas S. Perakos Arts and Community Center. The concert will feature Chamber Orchestra, Vocal Ensemble, Jazz Band, and special guests under the direction of Ron Castonguay P’27, Director of the Arts and Music Director. 

Limited seating is available for family, friends and the community. No registration is required. Parking is available in the Upper Lot off Kirby Road (accessible via the Gatehouse entrance). Limited spaces are reserved in front of TPACC for those who require accessible parking (enter via the Main Gate on Kirby Road). Please see the Campus Map for details.

This year, Gunn Music has prepared an evening of music that celebrates storytelling, connection, and the joy of shared experiences. The program features songs from beloved films, including Star Wars, A Star is Born, Beauty & The Beast, and Aladdin, iconic popular songs, jazz standards, spirituals, and timeless melodies.

The Frederick Gunn School Jazz Band includes: Jeremiah Babalola ‘29, Anderson Busby '27, Tyler Choi '27, Damani Gardner '28, Anders Hildebrand '29, Mike Li '29, Rachel Lin '27, Raymond Park '29, Sophia Pu '29, Dylan Ram '27, Amelia Reighard '29, Morgan Riley '29, Sam Worden '29, Jessica Xu '29, and Gavin Yin '26.

Chamber Orchestra includes: Sam Blackwood ‘27, Daniel Conlan ‘26, August Dong ‘28, Maeve Feeney ‘28, Joseph Huang ‘28, Nanami Kaku ‘28, Andrew Krause ’29, Jaeyi Lee ‘27, Ashleigh Maurice ‘29, CiCi Shi ‘28, Logan Valeiko ‘26, Sara Wang ‘26, Cathy Yang ‘28, Snow Zhang ‘27, and Anya Zigmont ‘26.
