Inspired by Frederick Gunn’s belief that athletics builds both "muscle and character," our program offers 36 teams across 16 sports. Whether you are a high performing athlete or a beginner, this is where you can master new skills, discover new passions, and contribute to the tradition of being a Highlander, in and out of competition.

Community Weekends

Certain weekends are designated as Community Weekends in recognition of the value of community time to a boarding school environment. During these weekends, all boarding students remain at school on Friday and Saturday night to participate in planned programming/activities. Day students also participate in Community Weekend programming and activities.

*Students can leave for long weekend after last Gunn commitment.

*Community Weekends follow a different weekend schedule, beginning Friday evening and continuing through Saturday evening.
