Back-to-School Guide 2022-23
We are excited to welcome students and faculty to campus for the 2022-23 academic year. International students will be welcomed back starting Tuesday, September 6. Domestic Boarding and Day students begin arriving Wednesday, September 7. As you prepare for the new school year, we hope you will find this Back-to-School Guide a useful resource. We will be adding updates throughout the summer, so please check back for additional details as we look forward to the start our 173nd year as a school together. Go Gunn!
All assigned health requirements and forms for the 22-23 school year are due by July 1, 2022.
Students start returning September 6.
Classes begin on September 12.

Every student has a debit account in the School Store. Funds can be added prior to the start of the school year.
If you have questions as you prepare to return to campus,
Students will hear from their advisors in early August.
All students will receive their rooming assignments on the day they register in September.
All students will receive their rooming assignments on the day they register in September. Please complete the Housing and Advising Survey (link provided in letter sent 6/21/22). We cannot guarantee that specific requests will be met (roommate preferences, single/double requests) but noting this important information in the survey will help us when making rooming assignments.
Day students will also be assigned a room.

New Students! Please upload a current school portrait for inclusion in the Student Handbook. Pictures must be received by July 15. Please do not send cropped pictures, edited photos do not reprint well in the handbook.
Parent Volunteer Opportunities
All Frederick Gunn School parents are invited to volunteer for one (or more!) of our many Parent Volunteer Committees. There are opportunities throughout the year to get involved in admissions events, faculty appreciation projects, parent fundraising, and much more! Sign up at The Parents Council table during registration in September. Faculty Advisors will be in touch in October to kick things off!
