The Technology Department would like to welcome all to new employees and new students to The Frederick Gunn School. This page provides step-by-step instructions for accessing The Frederick Gunn School network and your school email.
Parents/guardians will also receive this information in case they need to assist their student in the technology onboarding process.
The following two items were shared with new employees and/or new students and their parents in an email from sysop@frederickgunn.org:

Initial Password
Parents/Guardians, please ensure that your student uses this information to access The Frederick Gunn School network and their school email. Network access is required for students to complete forms that are due this summer from the Health Center, the Dean of Students Office, and Academic Office prior to their arrival on campus.
We are asking all new employees, new students, and new parents/guardians to complete the steps listed below.

Step 1: Log in to Chrome

Step 3: Change your password and re-log into Chrome

Step 4: Log in to your Frederick Gunn School email account

Step 5: Log in to Highlander Nation

Step 6: Install the Gmail app on your phone

Step 7: Configure your devices to work on FGS-WiFi

Step 8: Printing: Get your printer PIN

Step 9: Printing: Using the Canon copier system

Step 10: Cell phones should be set to allow Calling Over Wi-Fi. This may require that you contact your cell phone carrier to turn on that option.

STEP 11: Please be sure your PC or Macbook has antivirus software installed.
